Tactile Collider is coming to Liverpool!
If you are aged 11-18 and have a visual impairment we would love you to visit us.
Tactile Collider features a life size tactile particle accelerator model, immersive audio environments and 3D printed particle models, all with the aim of making exciting science accessible to students with visual impairments.
The workshop will last for 2 hours and students will be guided in small groups through activity stations allowing them to explore particle physics, magnetic fields, particle acceleration and the detection of the Higgs boson.
We hope that you can join us for what promises to be a fun session learning about cutting edge science and working alongside real scientists.
Please only reserve tickets for students (Accompanying adults don’t need a ticket) When you have booked a ticket please email us at email@example.com with student name, if it’s OK to use your image on our promotional photos and if you access your work using Modified Large Print, Braille or something else.
