Curious as to what particle accelerators can tell us about the beginning of time?

Tactile Collider is a project which aims to make the science behind the Large Hadron Collider accessible to all. We have developed a fully immersive experience which guides participants through the particle content of the universe and the form and function of a particle accelerator.
Join us to experience the sights, sounds and feeling of particle accelerator physics, meet real life researchers and immerse yourself in cutting edge science.
This experience is suitable for all, including those with visual impairments.
For more information on the project please follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @tactilecollider
Or read our recent article https://www.symmetrymagazine.org/article/lhc-exhibit-expands-beyond-the-visual
Tactile Collider is 2018 winner of The University of Manchester People’s Vote for the Faculty of Science and Engineering’s Better World Showcase and was Highly Commended in the Making a Difference Awards for Social Responsibility 2018 for Outstanding Contribution to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
This is a drop in event and so participants can arrive and leave at any time.
